We change lives. You can too. Whether you volunteer your time, make a donation, or host or attend an event — you can make a difference.
Together we can help and empower those who are abused and assaulted, change attitudes that perpetuate violence, and build a community with zero tolerance for sexual and domestic abuse.
Volunteers of The Women's Community have set up gift registries of items needed for our new facility. Read More>>
The Women's Community is being helped by a mother-daughter team who have designed a bookmark and sold them to raise funds for The Women's Community Capital Campaign. The bookmarks are still available for $2, which includes postage and handling. One side of the bookmark features artwork of butterflies and a poem about surviving domestic violence. The other side features the rendering of the new Women’s Community facility. Bookmarks can be bought through PayPal:
To buy large quantities of bookmarks, please contact the project volunteer facilitators: Valerie Lozada or Manuela Jennings.
The Women's Community is grateful to Valerie and Manuela for writing the bookmark poem and doing all the work to organize, publish and sell the bookmarks.
Thank you Valerie and Manuela!
