Making a Transition
Advocates provide long-term supportive services to victims of domestic and sexual abuse. Services provided include:
- Support through the transitional period when leaving an abusive relationship
- Assistance in locating safe, affordable housing
- Information and advocacy regarding landlord/ tenant laws
- Finances and budgeting
- Goal setting
- Coordination of services with other community agencies and landlords
- Limited funding for rent and security deposits
